About Me
I started Narre Warren Fine Art Printing to provide unique and amazing prints to the local community that you will enjoy every time you walk into the room.
I found it difficult to find a local business that would help with consistent quality and colour correct prints with the quality and personalised service required. As a result, I created Narre Warren Fine Art Printing to serve local artists and photographers (professional and hobbyists) that required the attention to detail to produce and replicate top quality prints.
Photography has always been a passion from an early age. My background is highly technical work around servers, network design and printers. So, operating a camera and the technology involved came naturally and was something that I enjoyed. About 5 years ago (2015) when I purchased my first Drone, this reignited my passion for photography and as a result purchased a new DSLR camera. This led to starting to photograph Pets (as a result of purchasing a cute dog (Spencer- an Australian shepherd- red merle) and photographing some incredible destinations when travelling with my 3 amazing daughters. Building up a Collection of awesome photos that I wanted to print lead to my printing passion.
I started with an A2 Professional printer for personal pleasures, learning the ins and outs of fine art printing. I also learnt so much from printing my own work – actually re-printing several times before I was happy with the final product. This is what made me want to setup the fine art printing club. I know from experience how much printing my own work has helped me, and I know many of you would benefit from sharing this knowledge and experience.
I soon learned that A2 size was quite small once hung on the wall. This led to wanting to create larger art and the creation of this business. The purchase of a 60” Canon Pro 6000 printer allows me to provide this unique service to the local community and beyond. This is just the start of my printing story.
I was amazed meeting many photographers who create awesome content but have never printed their work before. I believe printing is the last step in photography and should be explored if you have never done so. The feedback I receive from these people are so positive and encouraging which has helped me grow this business. I Enjoy the challenges that come with this type of work, and the satisfaction of producing the final product. I offer a satisfaction guarantee. This means if you’re not happy with our work, we will do what is required to make you happy.
I have invested in a lot of technologies and have added several services along the way as a result. (and will keep doing so in the future)
